1. What is Sparkle4ward?
Answer: Sparkle4ward is an initiative dedicated to teaching children a wide range of life skills through engaging and fun activities. We offer workshops that focus on arts and crafts, educational activities, and social skills development.
2. What age groups are the workshops designed for?
Answer:Our workshops are designed for children aged 5 to 12 years old. We also have specific sessions, like storytelling, for children under 5, accompanied by their parents.
3. How long do the workshops last?
Answer: Most workshops are one hour long, but some, like the Table Etiquette and Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea, are two hours to provide a more immersive experience.
4. What are the costs of the workshops?
Answer:
- General workshops: £15 per child.
- There are a few workshops at £10
- Storytelling: £5 per child (children must be accompanied by a parent).
- Table etiquette with dining experience: £30
- Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea: £20.
5. How do I book a workshop?
Answer: You can book a workshop through our website, which will take you through to eventbrite to book.
6. What materials are provided for the workshops?
Answer: All materials needed for the workshops are provided by Sparkle4ward. Each workshop includes specific items necessary for the activity, such as art supplies, cooking ingredients, and tools for crafts.
7. Can parents stay during the workshops?
Answer: Unfortunately No
Due to limited space in our building, parents are not permitted to stay with their children during workshops. However, for the storytelling sessions for ages 0-10, parents must accompany their children throughout the session.
We make an exception for parents of SEN children, allowing them to be present to provide necessary assistance.
A 10-minute grace period is available before each session for parents to view the setup and meet the instructors. Once a session has started, parents will not be allowed to enter the building. You are welcome to wait outside the venue or return once the session has concluded. You will still be able to see your children during the session from outside. Occasionally, light refreshments may be provided for parents who choose to wait.
8. Are the workshops educational?
Answer: Absolutely. Our workshops are designed to be both fun and educational, teaching valuable life skills that can inspire future business opportunities and personal growth.
9. What if my child has special dietary requirements?
Answer: Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate any special needs, particularly for activities involving food.
10. Is it SEN friendly?
Yes indeed we want ALL children to participate.We make an exception for parents of SEN children to be present to provide necessary assistance.
